Course 2 – Module 2 and Course 1 Assignments
This year’s seminar brought together thirty francophone members (France, Belgium and Switzerland) in Paris. All were very eager to listen to teachers coming from various European countries (Denmark, Greece, and Spain). Marianne Meyer, Director of the ESSE institute (North European Institute of Sathya Sai Education) and member of the Prasanthi Council, spoke on « Cooperation through dialogue ».
George Bebedelis, Director of the ISSE (South European Institute of Sathya Sai Education - to which France belongs to) and Vassiliki Stephanides (in charge of Management Committee of ISSE) spoke on « Qualities of a leader » (followed by a workshop) and «Teachings for future managers » respectively.
Raksha Mahtani, who is a teacher at the ISSE, shared her experience on the: « Application on direct and indirect models of Sathya Education in school ».
Gayathri Masilamany, French referent for the ISSE, made a presentation on the« Educational activities in Human Values Education in France ». Two young members of the Paris Center presented their work on « Gratitude » and « Self Confidence » and received their course 1 certificate at the end of the seminar.
All the participants enjoyed the talks: they were varied, instructive and stimulating with sharing of touching or amusing experiences. The atmosphere was very pleasant and every one is looking forward to the next seminar that will, in principle, take place end of May 2016.
